GALAXY A21S vs MOTO G8 PLUS: Samsung and Motorola duel for the BEST MID-RANGE

Is the Galaxy A21s able to outperform the Moto G8 Plus? Check out our comparison and find out the best one to buy.

The Moto G8 Plus delivers the best value among Motorola phones for having a good set without costing a lot to you. Samsung has been trying to do the same with the Galaxy A21s, which is priced similar to Motorola’s rival. Is the Korean novelty a better buy or is the G8 Plus more worth your money?

Let’s check it out! The A21s is a bigger phone, however, it delivers more screen in less space due to the slightly thinner edges. It has a small hole in the left corner to house the selfie camera. Your rival, on the other hand, still adopts the usual drop-shaped notch. In terms of thickness and weight, we have a minimal difference between the two but you’ll probably prefer Motorola because it’s a little more ergonomic. They are made of plastic and have similar build quality. In terms of connectivity, there is no difference - you have the same technologies present in both. The biometric reader is located at the rear and works well, however, it is a little slower on the Galaxy. And in design, which is more elegant?

Well, Motorola has a color with a gradient effect that is more discreet than the iridescent finish used by Samsung. The Galaxy will have greater appeal among young people. We then start with one point for each. Those looking for a Samsung cell phone are usually interested in a device with an AMOLED screen. Unfortunately, this is not the case with the A21s, which has a simple LCD panel that is not even an IPS like the one on the rival. Besides, it has only HD+ resolution, lower contrast, and limited viewing angles. The colors are more washed and, in general, will have inferior image quality. If the screen is important to you, choose the G8 Plus.

GALAXY A21S vs MOTO G8 PLUS: Samsung and Motorola duel for the BEST MID-RANGE | Comparison
Motorola is one of the few companies that invest in stereo sound in their mid-range cell phones. With the Moto G8 Plus, you have more immersive sound, with greater sound power and more balanced audio. Even the headset that comes with it is better than the basic Samsung accessory. For having a high-quality headset, then it is with Motorola that you will have the best sound experience. The G8 Plus takes a double point when it comes to multimedia. The G8 Plus has launched almost a year ago with Android Pie and it was only recently that it was updated for Android 10. Motorola is one of the slowest in system updates and is far behind Samsung in this regard.

Even security packages are more frequent on the Korean side, that is, with the Galaxy A21s you have a phone with many more features and that will be updated to Android 11 in the future, while you will hardly see the new version of the little robot on the Moto G8 Plus - Samsung takes the best in software. The Galaxy comes with Exynos 850, a recent Samsung platform with a manufacturing process more advanced, which helps make the battery yield more. While Motorola bets on Snapdragon 665, a very common Qualcomm mid-tier chipset in the market. In our multi-tasking test, we saw that Motorola is faster to load content from apps and games however, after everything is loaded into memory, you will have a better multi-tasking experience on the A21s. With that, we can say that the two deliver similar performance. But which hardware is more powerful?

Even though it is older, the Snapdragon 665 still gets better numbers in benchmarks. In An Tutu, we reached a difference of 25% advantage for the G8 Plus. Both run well for most Android games, including PUBG averaging 30 fps in HD quality. For those who play for a long time without stopping, you will have better stability on the Moto G8 Plus. Motorola, then, gets the better of performance. And does the latest Exynos manufacturing process make a difference in autonomy?

In our standardized battery test, we had three more hours for the Galaxy with the Motorola phone, you will have a battery for the whole day and a little left for the next morning but with the Galaxy, you will have a charge for up to half of the next day The A21s takes the same time to recharge as the G8 Plus, even though it has a bigger battery. You have to wait for a little over two hours at both. We then give the point to the Galaxy for greater autonomy. We have four cameras on the Galaxy and three on the Moto G8 Plus - both with a 48 MP main sensor, which records better photos?

By day we have a similar quality with Motorola showing a better color balance. At night, the G8 Plus takes advantage, with its more efficient night mode. Both have an ultra-wide camera, however, they work differently. The Galaxy allows you to use the widest lens for shooting, while the rival is limited to video-only. With the A21s you will have good pictures with this camera, with little loss of quality compared to the main one. Both have a depth sensor, but this works best on Motorola. Galaxy has an extra dedicated camera for macros.

The low resolution does not help much and we have pictures that are not surprising, but still serve for social networks. Each has its advantages, and with that, we tie the rear set. If you want the best for selfies go to Moto G8 Plus. It presents a considerable loss of quality in darker places, but during the day and in places that have some light source nearby, will have better pictures than on the A21s. Samsung delivers selfies similar to many entry-level phones, especially at night with great loss sharpness - G8 Plus takes point in selfies.  we have victory for Motorola. It records in 4K and its rival only in Full HD.

Also, it has a more agile focus and better stabilization when using ultra-wide. And a differential of the G8 Plus is being able to record with the phone vertically and have the video recorded normally in landscape mode. Finally, audio capture on Motorola is also better. We ended the camera part with one more point for the G8 Plus. The Galaxy A21s is a newer launch and already appears in promotions with better price than the G8 Plus. Both offer the same amount of storage, so the choice is only about which one you think is best. But as Samsung phones tend to devalue more, it’s capable of the price difference between the two is even greater when you decide to buy.

GALAXY A21S vs MOTO G8 PLUS: Samsung and Motorola duel for the BEST MID-RANGE | Comparison
With that, we ended the comparison with the last point going to the Galaxy A21s. Samsung’s phone may have come to challenge Motorola’s cost-effective king but the Moto G8 Plus is still a better buy. it delivers better multimedia set with a superior screen and more powerful stereo sound performs better and records better photos and videos, Its weakness is in the software part, so don’t be so confident about expecting to see Android 11 in it - Samsung’s rival is a good phone with a more current design, best battery and ultra-wide camera for photos.

When the price difference between the two is over R$ 300, it may be a better purchase the Moto G8 Plus, meanwhile, pick the Motorola phone. And of course, we help you find the best deals for both devices. Just click on the links below.

Take the opportunity to comment if you agree with the result or think that the A21s deserved more points. I will wrap up here, a hug, and see you next time.

Baffling Secret Revealed? 1100 Year Old Prasat Thom Temple, Cambodia

Hey guys, today I wanted to show you the secret behind this ancient temple called Prasat Thom in Cambodia, at first look you think everything is completely ruined but I am going to show you something exciting. Look at these blocks, anything strange about them? Anything unusual ? Out of all the blocks, only these blocks have some type of markings on them? Do you see what they are? Now, let us just follow these blocks with those weird marking or designs. While the other blocks seem to have a flat top, these blocks seem to have a nice curved surface on top. There are a series of these stone blocks, all made of sand stone, each block is about 2 or 3 feet long, and they all look like bread loafs neatly arranged in a line. This is a pretty long line and at the very end, you see something quite interesting. A block that is curved and look what we see, a 7 headed snake, a Naga raised up with its hoods ready to attack. See the scales on its back, now you know what those markings on the stone b

The One Intelligent Thing That Alexander Did

In history textbooks, Alexander is usually referred to as Alexander the Great. But was he really, or was he something else? Sadhguru speaks about the only intelligent thing Alexander did in his life. Sadhguru: So one reason he was pushing towards India was he wanted to find a yogi and learn how to become immortal. And they told Alexander, that we found the man, but he’s not willing to come. For once he did one intelligent thing, that’s the reason why we really removed his third name. See, Alexander,  in our history textbooks, school textbooks, they said, Alexander The Great. They only got the first name, the middle name, they missed out the last name, his name was Alexander The Great Idiot,  but because it was too long somebody left out the last name.  Well, the moment you make such a man, a great man in this world then in many ways, you’ve des…destroyed the future of humanity. Because from the age of sixteen – I think he died around thirty-two or thirty-three – all he did was kill, k

How does an Electric Motor work?

Electric motors can remain very mysterious! How do they use electricity to start rotating? Let's break it down step by step to understand how it works. Topics covered in this video: circuits, current, magnets, electromagnets, armature, commutator, brushes, stator, and rotor. This video only covers DC motors.  If you look around your house, you will see many devices that have electric motors, such as kids toys, table fans, toothbrushes, hairdryers, and this electric cutting knife. But how does the electric motor work? You turn it on and somehow it starts rotating. Why is that? Let’s start with something called a circuit. You have a battery, some wires and a device that uses electricity, such as a light bulb. Electricity flows through the circuit. But as soon as there is a break in the wire, the electricity stops flowing and the light bulb goes off. The path must be complete for the circuit to work. This is best down through the use of a switch. Electricity is flowing down the wire.

Kailasa Temple in Ellora Caves

This is the world famous Kailasa temple at Ellora and let's look objectively into who could have built this amazing structure. By the end of this video, I hope you will agree with me that our history is completely wrong, and that this temple was built by a very advanced civilization. What is so special about this temple? This temple was not constructed by adding stone blocks, but an entire mountain was carved to create this temple. This is the only example in the whole world where a mountain was cut out from the top, to create a structure. In all the other temples and caves, even in Ellora and the rest of the world, the rock was cut from the front and carved as they went along. The whole world has followed a rock cutting technique called "cut-in monolith" while Kailasa temple is the only one that has used the exact opposite technique called "cut-out monolith". To see why this rock cutting technique is so different, let's take a look at this pillar that is

Strange Ancient Pyramid in Cambodia

Hey guys, today we are going to look at a very strange place called Baksei Chamkrong in the Angkor Wat Complex in Cambodia. This is a very strange site because this is the only stepped pyramid in this temple complex. As you can see this is desolated, this is not a popular site but this is a perfect stepped pyramid and is one of the oldest construction sites in Cambodia. In fact there are inscriptions that actually take this back much much earlier in time. Who built this and why?  Archeologists and historians claim that this was built by a king called Rajendravarman and he spoke Tamil and Sanskrit. But there are inscriptions where he takes the entire Khmer dynasty to mythical times, more than many thousand years ago. This is a very interesting pyramid, and to understand it fully, we need to look at the aerial view. When we look at the drone footage, it is obvious that it was built with a specific pattern in mind. A specific frequency pattern. Remember, frequencies create patterns that
